London, the capital city of Great Britain, is an iconic metropolis that is a time-lapse in itself, having its history etched within the apertures of the city, whilst also capturing the essence of the gradual advancements of mankind throughout the years, for as long as two millennia.
Similar to the concept of London’s history and current state, photography traces the line of time as it passes by, all throughout history and onwards, capturing its intrinsic nature in the moment. Photography possesses the ability to incorporate classical subtleties of the past, within the nuances of societal advancements.
As such, London Photography Awards honours those who step out of their comfort zone, and capture astounding photographs that would be etched within history itself.

The London Photography Awards competition is designed for the convenience of the entrant by entering online and uploading your entries.
The London Photography Awards is open to anyone aged 18 and above residing anywhere in the world. The entries are open to professional, amateur, and student photographers on a global level, where we invite amazing photographers such as yourselves to enter and become a part of the London Photography Awards family.
The competition is open to all forms of photography taken up to 5 years from 2019, from commissioned, published, unpublished, and personal work, from professional and photography aficionados.
The submissions should be saved in a flattened JPEG or JPG format. (keep them under 4MB, 1,200px wide is preferable, 300dpi, RGB).
*All entries must be submitted for judging exactly as published or implemented and may not be modified for the competition. The London Photography Awards may request proof of initial production and/or publication date.

There are FIVE (5) levels of achievement in the competition:
London Photographer of the Year
London Category Winners of the Year (11 Categories)
Platinum Winner (85-100 points)
Gold Winner (60-84 points)
Honourable Mentions (50-59 points)
The number of awards presented by London Photography Awards is determined by the number of submissions in a given category, the scoring range, and the number of tied scores.
Our esteemed jury panel consists of leading gallery owners, publishers, editors, and renowned photographers, whose contributions and innovations to the world of art are genuinely inspirational. Collectively they evaluate, select, and reward photographs across the categories of Architecture, Black & White, Commercial, Covid-19 Related, Editorial, Fine Art, London Photography, Minimalist, Nature, People, and Special Category.
Submissions are judged at random without comparison in the same categories. Our judges will score on a scale of 1-100 based on:
Originality (Uniqueness of Concept / Expression of Theme) Creativity (Storytelling / Mood) Technical Execution (Composition, Colour, Lighting, Exposure & Focus) Subject Matter / Relevancy to Category Topic Overall Impression / Wow Factor
Entries receiving an average score under 60 do not receive an award.
To uphold IAA’s mission, London Photography Awards strives to keep the awards financially accessible and its judging process impartial. To further accommodate photographers of varying disciplines, numerous categories are made available to entrants.
London Photography also keeps its submission process simple, and everything can be completed online. When an entrant wins, they would not be required to pay any acceptance fees to have their achievement(s) announced internationally.
$30/image for professional and $25/image for amateur/student categories. There are no limits in the number of entries.
Fees are non-refundable. Withdrawn entries (whether withdrawn by entrant or by the London Photography Awards for entrant's failure to comply with the entry rules) will NOT be refunded.
Multiple entries must be submitted at the same time as your first entry in order to be counted as "additional entries". An entry submitted at a later time will be counted as a "first entry".

The package is priced at $185 for 10 Credits. One (1) Entry Category = One (1) Credit. With the package, you are be able to save up to $11 per entry.

*Note: Cash prizes are not cumulative. Only one cash prize can be awarded to each winner with the highest available prize applied.
For example, if a winner is awarded both London Photographer of the Year (Professional Category) and Category Winner of the Year, they will only receive the $3000 cash prize from the London Photographer of the Year and not $100 from the winning the latter. First placed Category Winners can only receive one $100 cash prize even if they win the title in multiple categories.
If you submitted your entries through an award agent and won either London Photographer or Category Winner of the Year, IAA will proceed to issue the cash prize to the closest representative of the winning entry, the award agent, to collect it on your behalf. Please liaise with your award agent on the matter of cash prizes. Cash prizes will be issued either to the winners or award agent within a month after the announcement of results.
The London Photography Awards and International Awards Associate’s decision are final in its sole discretion and binding in relation to all matters relating to Competitions and may not be subject to any discussions or correspondence.
