PRINCIPALITY OF ASTURIAS NATURAL PARKS (NW SPAIN)

This serie of photographs shows some of the most impressive landscapes of the natural parks of the Principality of Asturias (NW spain). Although it is not a region widely known among landscape photographers, it is an area boasting some stunning natural landscapes, encompassing, within a small area, idyllic beaches, vast forests, waterfalls, sheer cliffs and mountain ranges over 2,500 metres high. The aim of this work is to show the beauty of this natural parks of asturias (spain), from the wild coast cliffs to the cantabrian mountains under a new point of view, the classic b&w analog film look, the system I employ for my most intimate, artistic and and personal photographic word. All these photographs were taken with hasselblad 501c, 503cx and swc cameras, loaded with kodak tri-x 400 and ilford hp5 plus. Nd and gnd filter were used too. I hope this images contribute to show these natural places like they are, in one word, majestic. Thanks.
