In the municipality of Rivas Vaciamadrid, located in the region of Madrid (Spain), a church has been built with a modernist exterior design designed by the architect Ignacio Vicens. It is dedicated to the invocation of Santa Monica. Its exterior appearance is based on a steel cladding, which wants to symbolize the rusty decadence of the outside world in contrast to the pure light inside the church. It is a temple with a very characteristic finish, with apparently metallic tubes that end in glass luminaires.
