Of all the animals I photograph in the wild, zebras are my favorite. This is why I went to Samburu when I was in Kenya. In Samburu, they have Grevy's Zebras (Imperial Zebra) which is in the endangered species list. While we were driving we came across a few and spent the whole evening drive with them. One zebra is cool, but when they are aligned or on top of each other its even cooler. We tried to get close to them without scaring them but they are easily startled. I managed to shoot them from a distance with my 400mm f/2.8, and I was extremely happy with the results. I truly hope this beautiful animals survive and be with us for many centuries.
