Cosmic Smoke

- This is a lost island... Imagine you are dreaming, dreaming of a world of fantasy and surrealism, where strange things happen, extraordinary things. Put the case you run into an old stone house, and that from the chimney on the roof its coming out a strange smoke, a smoke made ​​up of millions, billions of stars .... the first thing that would come to your mind would be: "what are they are burning in that fireplace?" But in our "normal" World, it is only the Church of the Good Shepherd in Lake Takapo in a clear winter night. - The concept I wanted to share with this shot is to strive to always see the extraordinary in everyday life. I imagined this photo about three years before being able to take it, in these three years there have been several attempts, (I state that I was not aware of any App that helped me find the alignment between the church and the Milky Way) sometimes the clouds or the presence of the moon, others the wrong inclination of the Milky Way with respect to the horizon. It took a good deal of planning to bring this single shot to life.
