It was so cold this morning when we went to this very special place on Gotthard mountain in Switzerland. But we wanted to be there before sunrise to capture this light. The model was asked to perform a posing as if she wants to say "hello" to the rising sun. It always is my objective to show a kind of tension between a nude model with smooth skin and the rough nature that surrounds her. In this case I preferred b&w because when focussing on textures and structures in a picture color is disturbing.
