The series The Magic Garden consists of the photos from the former garden of my grandparents, where I grew up as a little boy. Today, after a long half-century, I come back once or twice a year in different seasons, and - when the light conditions are good - I take the photographs of the various parts of the garden in sunset light using ICM techniques. In this series, I try to show the extraordinary emotional beauty of the completely ordinary and - at first glance - uninteresting garden vicarious by the enthusiastic eyes of a small child that I have still remembered.
