Inspired by the amazing Navajo Nation slot canyons in there American Southwest. Formed when soft rock (typically Navajo Sandstone or limestone) and extreme climates collide and cause cracks which water seeps into with sediment. Over millions of years this erosion carves out narrow gorges that can be hundreds of feet tall and just a few feet wide. Observed from the base of the canyon ever changing light from above filters through from different angles onto the smooth carved stratified rocks, creating incredible tones, patterns and a surreal tranquility. This is a unique environment in which to experience natures serene and spiritual beauty, encased in its enormity of scale and time.
