Echo Park in downtown Los Angeles, California has romantic appeal to all who visit. Towering fountain, city lights reflecting in the water and the electric swan boats gliding about with love struck couples. To convey that I had my model, Faleena Hopkins hold very still so that I could go behind her and "draw" the shape of a heart with a specialized flashlight. It took me a few tries and I wanted the shape of it to be right. I do love how the light from this air drawing reflected on the talents face too.
