Last summer I invited a model to join me for a shooting in Belgium. The idea was to walk along a nice creek and find good locations for some shots. The nature of this creek changes from rough water to peaceful sections. For one of the pictures I decided to stop in this particular place. It was so quiet with a nice mirror effect in the water that I asked the model to contribute in a way to this peaceful and quiet mood. To underline this impression I used a flashlight to illuminate the area in which the model was lying. By this I could reduce the light in the background and simultaneously emphasise the colors of the rocks.
