"The Cyan World" is a series of experimental images that explore the essence and the possibilities of the cyanotype process with macro photography. By coating glass plates with cyanotype-emulsion and exposing it to different conditions, the surfaces change and transform. The close up photographs capture the unique tonal layers, delicate textures and intricate details found on the glass. The series combines contemporary photography with traditional alternative processes, inviting viewers into the chemo-physical materiality of image-making.
