This photo was taken during my first stay in St.Ives, Cornwall. I instantly fell in love with St. Ives the moment I arrived as it offers a unique opportunity to combine my interests in photography, painting, and historical and cultural preservation. My goal with this photograph was to capture the essence of St. Ives which is rooted in its thriving fishing industry and has since blossomed into a spectacular hub of artists and creatives. In order to create a historical hierarchy, the boats act as a focal point while the signature Cornwall landscape serves as a backdrop.
