Brayshaws Hut in the South of the ACT, Australia is a nod back to yesteryear. Built in 1903, this hut has been changed, built on and then returned to it's original state and maintained since. Within the boundaries of Namadgi National Park, its dark skies are a haven for Milky Way seekers. Here you can see the Emu (name for this region of the Milky Way by indigenous astronomers) rising to the left of the Hut and the Large Magellanic Cloud and Small Magellanic Cloud to the right of the hut.
