Huatekerekere or Little Mount Peel in Canterbury, New Zealand is a fairly steep hike that would normally reward with a huge view down the flat Canterbury Plains, with the Rangitata River flowing into The Pacific Ocean. On this occasion low cloud largely obscured this. However, my hiking companion made for good contrast against the murky weather and a different (and likely more interesting) stiched panoramic shot than planned was achieved
