My oldest cat, almost 19 years old, and besides the Thyroid problem, a tumor on her mouth appeared. Trying to operate would do more harm than good, like aggressive medication would just break her spirit and she is still jumping and running around, likes to play and has no pain and we will make everyday a good day. I could have removed the wire with the treats from the photos, but it felt like I was removing context from the image. I also don’t want to invoke sadness or pity with these photos and the history behind them, but I want to leave the reminder that life must be celebrated and lived.
