Artist Larry Sprauge photographed in his Bethesda home studio. He's most known for the "comfort birds" he crafts by hand. They are made with various types of wood and filled with colored resin that can catch the light in very interesting ways when you place them next to windows. They designed to fit in the palm of your hand so you can squeeze them like stress relief toys, but with a little more style. I photographed Larry while on assignment for Bethesda Magazine.
