Fireworks above the City of Edinburgh. After the storm ‘Barbara’ over Christmas, the 31st December was still very windy with rain throughout the day. However, from 8.00pm, the wind suddenly dropped and the rain stopped. I thus had perfect weather conditions to take my annual photo. That year, I went further away from the city centre, as I’ve been climbing up the Pentland Hills, located about 7 kilometers from Edinburgh's Castle.
