The Edge of Her World

The Edge of Her World is about standing in that space between what has been and what comes next. We have all been there—on the brink of change, uncertainty, loss, or self-realisation. It’s not always hell; sometimes it’s stillness. Sometimes it’s clarity. The muse, exposed but composed, becomes a symbol of that liminal moment—where fear and possibility coexist. Set along the coast of Hornbæk, Denmark ... a place steeped in artistic legacy ... this work pays subtle homage to the region’s history of figurative art. The graffiti-stained bunker becomes both a wall and a witness. The composition invites the viewer not only to observe, but to feel the tension between control and surrender, strength and softness, solitude and hope. This was always meant to be an image of emotional truth, told through body and landscape, on the edge of silence.
