I was involved with several commercial projects which kept the studio locked into deep water tanks for weeks on end. For creative variety, I would choose alternative objects to plunge into the water tanks specifically searching for interesting vortices. I was already working with the colour gels for the client work so I was neck deep in exploring how the colours affected with the water. This was one of my favourite Japanese whisky glasses with a fantastic shape and I quite love the result.
