A kiss to my son

Horses have the ability to create, I would say, deeply touching atmospheres, and only those who truly know how to care for them receive 100% of their affection and unconditional dedication. This is the wonderful reality I discovered when I went to photograph at the excellent Italian riding school "Rio Tavo Horse Club SSD," located in Abruzzo, in the wonderful natural setting of the countryside of Città Sant'Angelo, in province of Pescara, a school that nurtures budding young talents and, of course, is the owner of beautiful horses. In this particular shot, I had the joy of capturing a particularly tender moment between the beautiful mother you see on the right, Caterina, and her young male, Vega Star, both enjoying a moment of controlled freedom in one of the large enclosures of the Rio Tavo. Naturally, despite being calm, Caterina never lost sight of me, having never met me before that day, looking at me often; This didn't stop me from making friends and spending wonderful moments with them. In particular, when I was following the mother and son from afar as they galloped through the enclosure, Vega Star approached Caterina, raising his head towards her muzzle great enthusiasm, which prompted the mother rub his face against his son's with great affection! I felt very fortunate to have had the opportunity to capture this moment, because it was a strongly desired moment and not a coincidence, a true bond of love and great sweetness between these two closely connected creatures. I sincerely thank the staff at the Rio Tavo Horse Club SSD's school for their great availability and courtesy which allowed me to take these shots in complete tranquility and enjoyment.
