In the 1995/96 season, the Rubon team became a regular participant in the Belarusian Basketball Championship Major League. At that time, while working as a videographer for the 48 Channel TV company (Vitebsk), I spent three years filming the weekly sports program "Stadium". Since 2009, the head coach has been Ruslan Boydakov, a graduate of Vitebsk basketball, winner of the 1994 European Youth Championship, who played as a small forward and power forward for Belarusian, Russian, Polish and German clubs, and who led the junior, youth and national teams of Belarus.
