An idea took root eight years ago - quietly, gently, like the first mist drifting over a morning meadow. It whispered of summer. A true summer, rich with the scent of warm grass, cool springs, and fresh-drawn milk. A summer of childhood running barefoot through the fields, freckle-nosed and laughing, its bright echoes skipping across the hills. That is how the project Summer in the Village came to life - a tale of boys and girls whose summers unfold far from tarmac and timetables. Some belong to the village, others arrive only for the holidays, but all of them share the same gift: they live their summers fully, honestly, with open hearts. Through the years, countless photographs have been gathered. Not posed tableaux, but captured moments. Not merely faces, but small, vivid souls. Not simply children, but time itself slipping between one heartbeat and the next.
