I like photographing flowers because of their texture and find them gifts of nature. I shot these three Gerebera Daisies by laying them out in a uniform way on a white light table. Not being satisfied with the pedestrian look of them I decided to go in a different direction when working on this image in post production. Using a solarization technique I loved the simplicity of their silvery outlines and how it drew me in to gaze upon them while they were in this black velvet void.
