If you have ever watched kids learning to play baseball, it is quite an entertaining sight. All they know is that they have to hit the ball, run, catch the ball, and get the other team out, no matter the costs. As half of the team runs after the ball, some sliding on the ground, someone still has to stand up and get the ball to the pitcher. In the heat of the game, serious thoughts of the importance of winning show on their faces and bodies, even in young children. Baseball is an absolute delight for parents to watch and remember: teamwork, slides, fumbled baseballs, near misses, and home run victories. For the kids, it's a time to let out their inner competition and go for the win!
