Witness

The Witness is a series that beacons the audience to fill in the missing pieces. The series depicts subjects that look as though they’ve been plucked from old Hollywood, distilled in time gazing through hazy light onto god knows what. There is something mysterious or troubling about the images… the question is what are these panic stricken, shocked or bemused subjects witnessing? What lurks on the other side of the frame? The answers can only be resolved in our imaginations.. And what we might pluck from the deep recesses that are embedded in our subconscious minds are snippets of pop culture, Hitchcock films, even archives of UFO sightings from the late 50’s. We can pastiche and play with these narratives which will never be resolved.
