I could look into this gentleman’s eyes for hours. In Havana’s Casa Blanca neighborhood, this elderly gentleman allowed me to photograph him as he sat on his front porch. The shadows, side lighting on his face and torso, and the timeless expression of wisdom on his face make this my all-time favorite portraiture. I wish I spoke Spanish, and had a tape recorder, so I could listen to and record this gentleman’s life experiences.
