Éclat

This image is part of a series project I started in 2024 called " La Danse des Lumières" where I decided to use light-painting as my main technique to portray my subjects. I love the mystery that light-painting creates, a subtle play between the concealed and the discretely revealed allowing the magic of light to filter deeply into the soul of emotions. It is called la danse des lumières because I actually make very fluid movements like a small dance around my subjects and the outcome of this dance with a light source is always such a surprise, it is literally like applying brushstrokes to dark canvas allowing the light to emerge. In my portraiture work, I am not interested in documenting reality , but in creating a vision of my own
