First image of nine in a series named "Ominous, The Aftermath". Each artwork deals with the fact that as a collective the human race moves towards destruction not only of itself but of everything around us. Each artwork paints a scene on that very theme. The scene "The Last Clown" deals with the end of the silly and playful, the light heartedness and the innocence that we all need to stay sane. The clown´s character has along the way been hi-jacked and turned from light entertainment to creepy horror villain. With that in mind I felt he could serve well as a symbol of where we are heading. It´s ominous.
