Perfectly adapted to their environment, Wing-barred Piprites live and hunt for insects in dense forests in the Amazon basin and the southern part of the Mata Altantica rainforest of Brazil. Large eyes help them to navigate on the relative darkness of the forest and despite strong yellow colors, the camouflage is almost perfect.
