Cords wrap his neck, his wrists, his hands — pressing inward, mapping the limits of the self. Whatever once lived inside has been compressed, contained, held down by the weight of what surrounds it. And yet the palms rise. Fingers spread wide, open, reaching past the boundary of the body into open air. Resistance is a series about the exhausting, quiet act of not surrendering to what holds you — social expectation, internal pressure, the structures that claim to guide while they constrain. This is not defiance. It is something harder: choosing, again and again, not to lose yourself.
