Terry Vitacco began her career as a photojournalist and writer. Her commercial photography business specialized in capturing individuals on location for editorial, corporate, and advertising clients. Subsequently, she transitioned into the role of a Photography Professor and assumed the position of Chairman of the College of DuPage Photo Program, while still dedicating time to pursuing personal photography projects. Vitacco’s work has been exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions, and she has garnered numerous international accolades. Notably, she was recognized as the Overall Winner of the Julia Margaret Cameron Awards, with her work showcased in an exhibition in Barcelona, Spain. Additionally, she received Silver Awards in both the Prix de la Photographie de Paris Awards and the Budapest Foto Awards in 2024.
