Photographer's Profile
DroneLikeLorenzo, Australia
I am a self-taught photographer with a background rooted in resilience, curiosity, and a relentless pursuit of visual storytelling. What began as a way to rediscover purpose during recovery from a serious injury has evolved into a full creative journey spanning aerial landscapes, street scenes, and high-adrenaline sports. My approach is instinctive. I’m drawn to contrast — not only in light and shadow, but in emotion, tension, and perspective. Whether I’m photographing a surfer caught in the violent grace of a wave or a boxer mid-punch, I aim to freeze the raw moment just before the fall or the breakthrough. There’s poetry in those milliseconds, and truth in the physicality of them. Over time, I’ve developed a fascination for spaces where humans and environments collide — from rice fields carved into mountainsides to urban chaos framed in silence. My aerial photography often reveals structures and patterns that speak of both beauty and survival, while my recent work in combat sports focuses on vulnerability behind aggression. Both genres reflect a core question that drives me: how do people endure, and what does that endurance look like? Based in Sydney, I’m currently expanding my documentary work while continuing to explore new angles — both literally and metaphorically. Photography has become a tool not only for expression, but for discipline, reflection, and connection. Above all, I’m still learning. I believe growth comes from curiosity, and progress comes one frame at a time.
