Photographer's Profile
LAMSS MEDIA, United Kingdom
Olamide Adegboye is a lens-based artist and the founder of LAMSS MEDIA. His work is built on professional discipline and a drive to document the truths of our world that often go unseen. In his series, Ara Ní ń Rántí, Ẹ̀mí Ní ń Rí (Body Remembers, Spirit Sees), Olamide explores the idea that spaces hold deep memories. He uses the camera as a tool for stewardship, building a Living Archive that captures the essence of a location before it is lost to time. He believes that while a physical structure might change, the spirit of the place remains, and it is his responsibility to record it. Currently based in London, his documentary work has real-world impact. It is utilised by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) as part of the official public record. Olamide is a dedicated guardian of our shared history, ensuring that the spirit of our environment is never forgotten.
