After a successful career as a television writer and published author, Susan Borowitz picked up a camera for the first time in 2011, immediately feeling both transported by and at home with a new way for her to tell stories. Although she enjoys travel photography, Susan primarily works on conceptual staged narratives, often employing self-portraiture as a means to convey an "everywoman" protagonist. Her award-winning images have been exhibited in New York City, Berlin, France, Livorno, Trieste, Barcelona as well as multiple US galleries and are in private collections in New York, Chicago, New Jersey and California.
