Yoichi Yoshinaga

I Born in Shibuya, Tokyo, in 1977. Graduated from the Department of Photography at Osaka University of Arts. In 2004, I began working as a freelancer for an aerial photography company. My aerial photography style involves shooting from small aircraft such as Cessnas and helicopters. I started taking railway and aviation photographs about 20 years ago, and in 2011, I held my first solo exhibition, “Sora Tetsu.” Since then, I have presented numerous railway aerial photographs through solo exhibitions and photo books. I currently live in Shibuya, my hometown, and engage in aerial photography while experiencing firsthand the ever-changing face of the city. Member of the Japan Photographers Society (JPS) and the Japan Railway Photographers Society (JRPS)
