I'm originally from Manchester in the UK but have now been living and working in Amsterdam for the past 30 years.. I'm a passionate award winning location photographer with many years of experience under my belt. I'm a native English speaker but proud to be able to speak Dutch fluently, even with a hint of an Amsterdam accent so my Dutch friends tell me. My work has taken me to some amazing places, shooting travel features for National Geographic, outdoor stories for adventure magazines or working on my own landscape photography. I shoot corporate and advertising assignments for major international companies as well as for smaller local businesses. Next to my assignments I like to pursue personal projects, I travel to places like the Faroe Islands, Sweden and Scotland to work on my landscape photography. I am also currently photographing ruined WW2 defences as part of an on going personal project. The project has created much interest in the international press and has featured in 'The Daily Mail', 'Wired Magazine', 'Creative Review' and numerous blogs and websites. I was honoured to be a guest lecturer at the 'Willem De Koning Acadamy' in Rotterdam, teaching landscape photography to 2nd and 3rd year students. I also love playing football, which keeps me fit, that's handy when trying to keep pace with a Nepalese mountain guide whilst climbing Trolltinden in Norway with a full pack of camera gear.
