Steven Stanley Manolakis is an Australian landscape photographer based in Sydney. His images of landscapes photographed from above provide a unique view of what lies surrounding us. Since he began shooting in 2018, Steven has earned more than 40 international photography awards and has been published in numerous magazines, including Australian Photography and The Eye of Photography. Most notably, he was selected as a finalist in the 2020 Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year and has received 2 Best of Best distinctions in the Creative Communication Awards two years in a row. His style is often recognised for its detail-oriented scrutiny of the earth’s surface and allusion to beautiful abstract paintings.
