This work was shot on a typical morning by a creator who carefully experience life in Los Angeles, visualizing his affection for Southern California. The work subtly utilizes natural light to divide the scenes. The upper levels of the buildings are bathed in the gentle morning light, while the lower levels, along with the garbage truck performing its early-morning duties on the ground, are shrouded in darkness. This varied boundary between light and shadow resembles rolling waves, stitching together the bright red, yellow, and green blocks of the buildings with the shadows in cool colors.
