The wild Atlantic Ocean churns and crashes endlessly into the rugged coast of the Faroe Islands. Just below the village of Gásadalur, the waterfall Múlafossur plunges 100 feet into the ocean below. Even in modern times, this place has such an isolated, remote feeling. One can only imagine what it was like to be among those who were hearty and brave enough to first settle here.
