Kairo, a four-year-old rescued male tiger, lies fully anesthetized and oxygenated in preparation for a procedure on his broken canine. Requiring the assistance of a mobile veterinarian specializing in dentistry, three-year-old male tiger Kairo receives a composite filling to protect a broken canine tooth from future infection. Authorities seized Kairo as a four-month-old cub in 2019, where he was found being kept in a Paris apartment. Kairo now lives at the Refuge de l'Arche, a wildlife sanctuary in France.
