This series investigates the sterile, functional landscapes that define the modern experience of "transit." Focusing on the peripheral zones of international hubs—specifically the boundaries of airports and urban railway corridors—the work documents the visual language of movement, security, and technological oversight. In these non-places, the natural world is not an inhabitant but a bystander, filtered through the rigid grids of human infrastructure. The sequence begins with "Nocturnal Horizon", a minimalist study of distance. The faint glow of runway lights and the vast, dark sky establish the atmosphere of a world in constant, silent motion. It is the starting point of the transit, where the landscape is reduced to a series of navigational signals. This is followed by "Signal and Sentinel", featuring the vertical, cold geometry of radar and communication towers. These structures are the silent governors of the transit zone, projecting an invisible authority over the landscape. The contrast between the soft cloud formations and the hard, metallic lines of the masts emphasizes the technological imposition on the environment. The narrative pivot, "The Threshold", captures the literal point of friction. Here, a security fence bisects the frame, cutting through the organic silhouette of a tree. This image serves as a potent metaphor for the "Transit" experience: a state of being caught between the freedom of nature and the strict confinement of the grid. The series concludes with "Urban Arteries“, showing the transit system integrated into the city's fabric. The railway lines and harbour infrastructure represent the final destination of this journey, where the peripheral becomes the central. Through a consistent high-contrast monochromatic treatment, the series invites the viewer to perceive the poetic, if somewhat haunting, beauty of these functional "in-between" spaces.
