I've been passionate about photography since childhood, but only turned to it as a profession in December 2020, in the midst of the pandemic. I mainly do limited-edition, signed and numbered fine art photography: several exhibitions in France (including Arles) have enabled me to get known, especially for my work on flamenco. In November 2022 I self-published an art book Luz Flamenca with a selection of my photographs. My photographic approach takes up the literal meaning of the word "photography": writing with light. I began photography with silver cameras, and despite the evolution of technology, my approach hasn't changed. I adapt the camera's 3 key parameters (ISO, depth of field and shutter speed) to capture unique moments, letting my creativity express itself during the shoot. I see fine art photography as the translation of my photographic approach: I don't just capture a moment, I translate it into the language of emotions. An art photograph has the power to let the viewer and his or her imagination travel: I like the idea that my photographs can be read differently by different people. Dance photography has deep roots in me: I practiced classical and contemporary dance for almost 20 years, until several injuries forced me to stop. Dance has enabled me to express my emotions and creativity through movement, and today I like to dance through my eyes, capturing these emotions expressed on stage by great artists.
