My passion for storytelling began on a farm in remote Mozambique, where I spent my early childhood. My father gave me my first camera, a 1st generation Leica, and he taught me to not just to see the world, but to truly understand it through a different lens. Though based in Los Angeles, I'm a nomadic photographer at heart, and profoundly passionate about capturing stories from the world's less-traveled corners. I approach my work with deep respect for local cultures and a relentless pursuit of unique perspectives. From the remote villages of Ethiopia to the icy expanses of the Antarctic, my goal is to create images that spark wonder and inspire discovery. My work explores themes of human resilience, environmental conservation, and the sheer awe of our planet. I believe photography has the power to foster understanding and drive positive change.
