Olivia Mazzola is a Milan-based fine art photographer specializing in contemporary portraiture and visual research centered on light, femininity, and emotion. Through a poetic and dreamlike visual language, her images transform intimate moments into evocative narratives suspended between reality and imagination. Using experimental techniques such as light painting and long exposures, her work explores vulnerability, grace, and inner strength, creating a refined and deeply emotional visual universe. She earned a Master’s Degree in Photography from IED – Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan (2019–2021), where she developed her conceptual and stylistic approach. Her work has been exhibited internationally in group exhibitions across Europe and the United States, in cities including Milan, Barcelona, Paris, and New York City, participating in exhibitions such as Imagenation, Julia Margaret Cameron Awards Winners Exhibition, and Minimalist Photography Awards Exhibition. In 2025, she received several major international recognitions, including Second Place in the Portrait/Fine Art category at the International Photography Awards, Third Place (Bronze) at the ND Awards in the People: Fashion & Beauty category, and was named a finalist at the Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize. Her work has been featured in international magazines and platforms such as Vogue, Fotografiska, The Independent Photographer, All About Photo, L’Oeil de la Photographie, Flanelle Magazine, Iconic Artist Magazine, and Dehazed Magazine. She has also released a limited edition with LUMAS and collaborated with Liberation of the Arts, one of the world’s leading fine art galleries, further consolidating her presence within the contemporary fine art photography scene.
