Paul has played with cameras and taking photos since his early years, but he only took the steps to take it seriously and build up his skills in the craft in 2017, after being asked to take photos for a live music publication. After several years of experience as a live music and event photographer, having shot for Rob Thomas, and The Used. He has captured bands like Parkway Drive, Megadeth, Trivium, The Living End, Hunters and Collectors, and Steel Panther to name a few. Paul also loves getting out under the night skies, having been obsessed with the stars since being a young boy. He trained under Ari Rex (IPA International Nature Photographer of the year 2020) and honed his skills with hundreds of nights in the Canberra winters. Paul now runs Milky Way photography workshops of his own around the South Coast of NSW and Canberra. He also still works closely with Ari on a number of projects.
